What I Bring to the Room
-
Real Training. Real Repair.
I'm trained in IFIO and PACT, I'm a Certified IFS therapist, and I hold certifications in Somatic Experiencing and Discernment Counseling — because couples in real crisis don't need generic advice, they need methods built for high-stakes moments. IFS and IFIO help you understand the parts of yourself running the fight before you even open your mouth. PACT and attachment work target the wiring underneath your reactions. Somatic Experiencing works with your body, not just your words. And when you're not even sure you want to stay in the room together, Discernment Counseling gives you a focused, time-limited process to get a real answer.

For Couples Who Can't Point to One Reason
Maybe there wasn't one blowup. There wasn't an affair — or there was, or it's twenty small things that piled up into something that now looks like disdain. You look at each other and wonder how you got here, or whether there's a "here" left to get back to.
I specialize in exactly this: couples in high conflict, couples untangling infidelity, and couples who drifted so gradually that neither of you can name the moment it started. I know how to work with contempt without flinching from it. -
For Couples Who've Tried Therapy Before
If you've sat through sessions that felt more like refereeing than repair — where nothing changed except you both got better at explaining your side — you're not alone. I hear this constantly.
I don't just ask what happened. I watch what's happening in the room in real time — your body, your tone, the half-second before one of you shuts down or escalates — and I name it, so we're working with what's actually driving the pattern instead of narrating it again. -
Thirteen Years In
I'm not new to this work. Thirteen years of sitting with couples at their worst moments has sharpened my instincts and made me direct — not cold, but clear. I don't dance around what I'm seeing, and I won't let you dance around it either.
-
A Practice Built Small on Purpose
I keep my caseload limited because this work asks a lot, from both of us. If you're reeling from a disclosure, or trying to figure out whether you're staying or leaving, you deserve a therapist who's actually present, not stretched thin across forty other couples. I protect my energy so you get the real thing.
-
Couples, Only
This is the only work I do — not families, not individuals on the side. Couples. I keep training and going deeper into this one lane because untangling two people who've hurt each other, and helping them find their way back, or apart, clearly, takes everything I've got.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. Discernment coaching isn't a diagnosis-based service, so insurance doesn't apply the way it might for individual therapy.
This is also coaching work, so I don’t do any clinical interventions or trauma based work. This is trauma informed work though. -
Schedule an initial consult with me via the tidy cal link so I can get a sense of whether we're a good fit. If we are, I'll send you a link to complete your intake paperwork — this needs to be submitted to secure your spot.
For online sessions, we'll meet on my secure platform, Zoom. You'll get a reminder email or text with the meeting link 48 hours before your appointment, and again 10 minutes before we start.
Log in a few minutes early. If you're meeting individually, use earbuds with a microphone for the best sound quality; if you're meeting as a couple, position your camera so I can see both of you. You'll land in a virtual waiting room, and I'll start the session at our scheduled time.
